A proud member of the Miami arts community for nearly two decades, Iva’s career as a cultural administrator spans across disciplines; from music, to science education, theater, and visual arts. Prior to joining the senior team at The Bass, where she currently oversees the development department, Iva held key leadership roles at some of Miami's most beloved organizations, including GableStage, Fountainhead Arts, and Frost Science.

Alberto is responsible for fundraising and diversifying revenue for an institution that has been proudly serving as the steward of the city’s history and collector of Miami stories for over 80 years. Alberto joined the Museum as it enters its next phase, under new leadership, and vision that involves the building of a world-class museum that is future ready and reflects the dynamic and ever-changing nature of this historic city.

John Canning, AMD's Director of Developer Relations, guides the company in delivering optimal products for the Creator space. With a diverse background in XR, games, virtual production, and digital humans, he previously served as the Executive Producer for New Media & Experiential at Digital Domain. Committed to storytelling through dynamic media, Canning leverages disruptive technology for creative impact. As the former Chairman of the New Media Council for the Producers Guild of America, he represented the interests of producers in broadband video, games, transmedia, iTV, and XR content. Before AMD, Canning was VP of Interactive Experiences at NBC Entertainment Digital, developing interactive experiences for major TV shows like The Voice and America’s Got Talent.

Deputy Program Director | Onassis ONX Studio

 

Best of Fest Juror

Jazia Hammoudi is the Deputy Program Director of Onassis ONX Studio, the Onassis Foundation’s XR accelerator in New York City. She specializes in contemporary art and immersive technologies, and holds degrees in art history and museum studies. Before joining ONX, Jazia served as studio manager for Jakob Kudsk Steensen. On the side, Jazia leads art & architecture tours in her native Morocco, as part of a larger effort to bring exposure to North African artists.

Co-Founder | Mixed Reality Academy for the Arts

Julie Walsh, a Chicago-based curator, specializes in contemporary Asian art, immersive technologies, and digital art. She co-founded the MIRAA Mixed Reality Academy for the Arts, curated XR exhibitions for MEET Digital Culture Center in Milan, co-curated the Istanbul Digital Art Festival in 2023 and 2024, and organized NFT exhibitions like Feral File (2021) and the NFT Biennial Istanbul (2023). Julie also ran a gallery dedicated to contemporary Asian art since 1991. She is a renowned speaker and moderator at various national and international events, including VREurope, Ars Electronica, Venice Biennale, Recto VRso, and SxSW.

Andrea Mora

Born in Venezuela and later moving to the States Andrea Mora developed a passion for uncovering the realities within different cultures and communities. As a creative writer and photographer, she has the ability to fuse both mediums allowing the viewer to interpret her work more profoundly. After completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at SCAD, working with nonprofits, and then working with a Private Art Collection in Miami, Andrea Joined the Superblue team. She is now their Art Liaison and Community Manager; spearheading their Concierge Department along with their Disabilities Programming pushing to make art accessible for all.

Beata Calińska

Manager, New Frontier | Sundance Institute

Beata Calińska, an LA-based experimental creator and producer, has been a program manager at Sundance Institute since 2019, specializing in New Frontier. In 2022, she produced and hosted Sundance’s award-winning immersive platform "The Spaceship." Her work has been recognized at prestigious events like BAMCinemaFest, Anthology Film Archives, Visions du Reel, and CineMigrante in Buenos Aires. Beata's artistic pursuits have earned support from institutions like the Goethe Institute, UnionDocs Center for Documentary Art, UCLA's Documentary Program, and the University of Cyprus.

Mike Knowlton

Throughout a 20 - year career in digital media, Mike is a true multihypenate. He has proven experience in all phases of digital media creation from strategy to execution, design to developppement, and product management. He is currently a senior leader of Campfire, a specialized marketing agency that develops award-winning strategies and campaigns to launch new products and entertainment franchises.
