“I want to shake up the viewer, I want to disorient them, for them to lose grip on what’s going on (…) it’s part of Immortelle’s essence”
- Line Katcho

Frost Planetarium at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science

FilmGate Fusion at Frost Science is excited to kick off with the world premiere for the dome experience of "Immortelle" by Line Katcho in collaboration with world-renowned electronic music festival MUTEK. The opening event will feature an electrifying live performance and dome experience. With daring visuals, Immortelle captures the mind of a struggling artist, showing both the softer and fiery sides of her fighter spirit.

Join us on April 11th at the Frost Planetarium to experience this immersive artwork and live performance, including an Opening Cocktail at 6 PM.

Immortelle is an atmospheric and figurative 6DOF work illustrating the flights and falls of psychological endurance. Featuring a cathartic flux of sonic and visual fragments, this unpredictable piece opens a door onto how a mind in internal turmoil redefines the outside world. The viewer travels through different scenes and seasons, paves through evocative empty structures, wades through waves and mountain peaks, encounters a presence in a vacuum.

Immortelle evokes how visceral perceptions of our environment mirror our own transformations, showing both the softer and fiery sides of a fighter spirit.
