I'm starting to think I might have to put down these types of mobile games for a while. I find myself getting way too stressed out while playing these titles, because every second counts and the tension is extreme. My heart rate goes up, my palms get sweaty – it's like I'm taking a final exam every time I play one of these games. Does anyone else experience this stress, or am I just particularly susceptible? Maybe some people are just better equipped to handle high-pressure gaming situations, and I am not one of them…

I know exactly what you mean! It's part of what makes them exciting, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. There’s content out there that explains why these types of games are well-suited to mobile play, and you can see some of that thinking at https://timesloom.com/blog/why-crash-style-games-fit-the-fast-pace-of-mobile-entertainment/. It can feel like you are racing against a clock, so it is absolutely vital that the design of the game is well-suited for fast and easy choices. Perhaps you can find less intense games in the same genre. The visuals and sounds can play a big part in triggering over-stimulation, so check those out and adjust your preferences.
