Josette Melchor is an experiential creative leader and founder whose work intersects art, technology, real estate and responsible AI. At Google, she built the global placemaking and art curation programs from 0-1, managing 1.5M square feet of public space across six countries. She founded Gray Area in San Francisco, producing immersive performances, large-scale festivals, and exhibits like DeepDream—the world's first neural network × artist exhibition. She currently leads Newtemporary a consulting practice working with mission-driven organizations on emerging applications of AI, spatial strategy, and social impact. She is a Board Member of the Burning Man Project and has been featured in Fast Company, Wired, and TechCrunch.
