Doors and Ladders is an interactive, motion-tracked "physical platformer" that reimagines the mechanics of classic board games through a modern, cinematic lens. Utilizing computer vision and depth sensing, the installation transforms the participant’s body into the protagonist. The map is a vertical, multi-level environment inspired by the industrial surrealism of Donkey Kong and the high-speed door-conveyor systems seen in Monsters, Inc.
