Drift

DRIFT is a live, immersive performance by Le Clair Obscur that blends theater, AI, and full-dome visuals. Set in a post-apocalyptic future, the audience boards a spaceship guided by an actress and AI voices on a journey to a distant exoplanet—exploring memory, identity, and humanity’s place in the cosmos.

Director

Frédéric Deslias is a French director, composer, and digital artist exploring the intersections of theater, technology, and science fiction. Founder of the multimedia collective Le Clair Obscur, his work blends immersive performance with speculative storytelling and has been showcased at major digital arts festivals across Europe and beyond. With a background in electronics and performing arts, Deslias has trained with pioneers like Eric Lacascade and the Workcenter of Jerzy Grotowski, and has collaborated widely in theater, dance, and installation. His creations are known for their poetic, science-infused visions of the future.
