Vicki L. Lopez

Commissioner Lopez has an extensive record of service at both the state and local
levels. She was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2022 and has since
been reelected, advocating for policies that strengthen communities, expand
opportunity, and improve quality of life. Earlier in her career, she served on the Lee
County Commission from 1990 to 1993, gaining valuable experience in local
government and constituent services.

A strong supporter of the arts, innovation, and emerging technologies, Commissioner
Lopez believes that creative industries play a vital role in shaping vibrant communities
and driving economic growth. She is proud to support initiatives that advance
storytelling, digital media, and the intersection of art and technology across Miami-Dade
County.
