Fred Grinstein

Fred Grinstein is the co-founder of Machine Cinema, a creator collective and community resource advancing cinematic storytelling with generative AI through GenJam™ events, workshops, and summits in LA, SF, NY, and beyond. A creative executive and media strategist, he bridges premium film/TV with emerging technologies including AI, XR, and Web3. He’s a Fellow with Starling Lab and Stanford University researching spatial storytelling and archival prototypes using Gaussian splats, and an Adjunct Professor at USC School of Cinematic Arts and Chapman University teaching Cinematic AI. He also consults with major non-fiction companies and networks including History and A&E, and previously led non-fiction programming at Anonymous Content.
