
Amanda Garcia
Program Associate/Arts at Knight Foundation

Amanda Garcia brings international experience in the contemporary art world and community-centered arts initiatives to Knight Foundation’s Arts team. She founded and operates ALA Projects, a platform supporting contemporary Latin American and diaspora artists through exhibitions, collaborations, and art fair presentations. At Leon Tovar Gallery in New York, she curated exhibitions and led the gallery’s participation in international art fairs.
Earlier in her career, she worked in sustainability and urban policy consulting, managing cross-European partnerships on energy efficiency initiatives. Amanda holds degrees from The New School, Sciences Po Paris, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
