The Ocean Guardians

The Ocean Guardians is an immersive artistic experience combining art, literature, and augmented and mixed reality technologies. The audience embodies a future explorer, invited to dive into the heart of marine ecosystems and to discover three imaginary floating cities, conceived as poetic and concrete responses to contemporary ecological challenges.
The project highlights ocean-related myths drawn from different cultures, recalling the ancestral importance of maintaining relationships of respect, listening, and balance between human beings and the sea. These mythological narratives, reactivated through sound narration and animated imagery, resonate with current scientific challenges related to the protection of nature and the need for respectful environmental practices.
Through large-scale sculptural pop-ups, immersive soundscapes, and sensitive interactions with underwater life, The Ocean Guardians offers an immersive, emotional, and accessible awareness-raising experience. The project invites audiences to rethink their relationship with the ocean—not as a resource to be exploited, but as a living world with which it is essential to rebuild lasting and respectful connections.
