Ping Sheng Wu

Ping Sheng Wu is a Taiwanese media artist whose practice encompasses sound art, audiovisual performance, and installation. He served as the music supervisor for the Taiwanese media art collective noiseKitchen. His audiovisual works have been showcased in Barcelona, Spain. Wu was selected for the Ministry of Culture's residency program in New York and participated in exchange programs between Taiwan Sound Lab (TSL) and France's IRCAM. He contributed sound design for a residency project at EMPAC, the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center in New York.

In 2024, he was selected for the "NTT Arts NOVA" project at the National Taichung Theater.
In 2023, his audiovisual work premiered in North America at the FGI Festival, supported by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency. In 2020, he was selected for the C-LAB Creators program, during which he independently developed a Wave Field Synthesis system. His sound design collaborations with the dance company YiLab have been presented at Art Basel Miami Beach,the Spring Performing Arts Festival in the Netherlands, and AsiaTOPA in Melbourne, Australia. In 2023, he was nominated at the FilmGate Interactive Media Festival and was selected for Canada's SAT Fest 2024.

Ping Sheng's works have been featured in numerous exhibitions and festivals across Asia,
Europe, and North America, including the Taiwan Biennial, Taiwan International Light Art Festival, Taiwan Lantern Festival, Yuejin Lantern Festival, and Nuit Blanche Taipei.
