WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
Volunteer
Volunteer at FilmGate
Support live events, interactive exhibitions, and workshops while meeting creators from Miami and around the world. Volunteers help with check-in, guest experience, gallery support, and behind-the-scenes logistics.
Time commitment:
Flexible, event-based
Who it’s for:
People who want to help out occasionally, learn how our events run, and be part of the community.
Benefits:
Volunteers gain hands-on experience in event production, public interaction, and leadership.
Upon completion, participants may request a FilmGate referral letter of recommendation.
Internship
Internship Opportunities
Join FilmGate for a deeper, hands-on experience in producing immersive and independent media. Interns support programming, production, communications, and interactive projects alongside our core team.
Time commitment:
Part-time, multi-week or semester-based
Who it’s for:
Students and emerging professionals interested in film, XR, event production, media arts, or cultural management.
Benefits:
Interns develop practical skills in film and interactive media production, event organization, team coordination, and leadership.
Upon successful completion, interns are eligible for a FilmGate referral letter of recommendation.
