Founder and Artistic Director of Juggerknot Theatre Company

Tanya Bravo is the Founder and Artistic Director of Juggerknot Theatre Company, a Miami-based collective known for pioneering immersive and site-specific theatre in South Florida. For more than two decades, Bravo has led the company in creating innovative performances that transform unexpected locations into theatrical worlds, helping shape Miami’s contemporary performing arts landscape.
Under her leadership, Juggerknot has produced more than 50 original productions and immersive experiences across Miami’s diverse neighborhoods. The company’s acclaimed series Miami Motel Stories reimagined historic motels as living stages, receiving national recognition from The New York Times and other media outlets while bringing audiences directly into the stories of Miami’s evolving cultural identity.
Bravo’s work is driven by a commitment to connecting communities through storytelling and highlighting the city’s rich multicultural fabric. Expanding this vision, she recently launched the Miami Immersive Intensive, a professional training program that brings leading artists from around the world to Miami to mentor and train the next generation of immersive creators.
Her projects have included collaborations with organizations such as the HBO International Latino Festival, the Latin Grammys, Heineken USA, Chivas Regal, the Leah Arts District, Remezcla, and the South Beach Comedy Festival.
Through Juggerknot, Bravo continues to position Miami as a hub for immersive storytelling and artistic innovation.
