The sweatshop

A FilmGate Program tailored made for Actors & Screenwriters. This program is lead by tenured filmmaker & founder Paul Vincent Alexander. The program explores "scene enhanced" scripts readings specially tuned for an actors voice & physical performance. The process includes screenwriters valued feedback after the scene is performed and actors get the exercise of working thru the scene and learning on tips on how to make the performance more lively and true to the scene. Breakfast treats included. Street Parking is available. MADE POSSIBLE WITH THE EVENT PARTNER VILLIAN THEATER & A very special thanks to Katrina Morris

We invite writers to bring in their screenplays ( only 1-5 pages of a scene in YOUR script PLEASE! ) and actors perform a cold read of the submitted material; segments of shorts and features welcome!

Come meet and greet with other actors and writers in the community and find collaborators for your next project, as you watch your written work come to life!
