Do you have an idea for the next great film? Are you an actor who's looking to get more involved in Florida's film scene? Perhaps you're looking for someone to help with the audio or lighting on your next independent film. If so, the Percolator is the place for you! The first Wednesday of each month at our "I'm Not Gonna Move to L.A." short film competition, we host The Percolator, a chance for local creatives to pitch their skills and ideas to Miami's filmmaking community!

In the past, people have pitched everything from films, to music, to art installations- even comic book ideas. It's an excellent chance to find like-minded collaborators to help make your vision become a reality. So pour yourself a cup of coffee and be an active member of your creative community- you never know who will be listening!

  • You must sign up to pitch upon entering the theater; it is based on a first-come-first-serve basis, so we encourage participants to come early.
  • Each participant gets 1 minute to pitch, and 1 minute for questions from the audience.
