Nasreen Alkhateeb is an award-winning transmedia storyteller whose content has broadcast internationally. Her films motivate audiences, empower new voices, and inspire immersive storytelling. Immersed in an intercultural home, spending her early childhood in Saudi Arabia, and her adolescence in Washington DC, Nasreen moved to New York City where she received her BFA in Multimedia & Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. With an identity built around otherness, adaptable and intuitive, Nasreen thrives as a leader on multimedia projects of all types for film festivals, broadcast television, non-profit organizations, commercial and educational institutions. Having curated and created original content for NASA, TED, UNITED NATIONS, WITNESS, AMC, COACHELLA, Discovery, and IFC Films, Nasreen has also participated in and done programming for AFI DOCS, SXSW and SUNDANCE. Recent fieldwork includes: Iceland, Turkey, Denmark, Greenland, Iraq, and Costa Rica Nasreen’s immersive transmedia production was hailed by The Washington Post as "visually smart...terrific, surreal visual design."
